| Vocal Music Boosters Meeting TONIGHT - Thursday, September 09, 2010Thursday, September 9, 2010
The first Vocal Music Boosters' (VMB) meeting of the school year will take place tonight in the Wilmington High School Library at 7:00 pm.
Come! and be a part of supporting the choirs at Wilmington City Schools!

| Middle School Choir Folders going home tonight - Thursday, September 09, 2010Each choir student in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choir will receive his or her own choir folder and music on Thursday, September 9th. (High school students received their folders and music earlier in the school year.) However due to the increased numbers in choir since the beginning of the school year, not all students will receive a copy of each song there choir will be performing.
Because of this temporary shortage students are ENCOURAGED to practice his or her own music at home, but the REQUIRED practice records for the 6th grade choir will not be collected until every student has all of his or her own music.
Another announcement will be made once all music has been distributed to the students. |

These award winning groups are eager to sing for you!
Our director is David G. Beck. He is a lifelong resident of Wilmington, having graduated from WHS himself. He received his degree in music education, summa cum laude, from Wilmington College, having also attended Indiana University school of music in Bloomington. Mr. Beck completed post-graduate work at the University of Cincinnati and received his Masters' of Administration degree from Xavier University. Mr. Beck resides in Wilmington with his family.
