CARES Act (ESSER/ARP) Funds and Expenditures

The Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) and the American Rescue Plan (ARP) grants are provided to help schools cover increased expenses and bridge student learning gaps resulting from the pandemic for school years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23. 

• The funds are temporary.
• They come with a list of approved expenditures.
• Grant funds are typically NOT for general operating expenses.

Our District is working very hard to ensure that money provided by the CARES Act/ESSER/ARP and other grant programs are utilized according to each grant's guidelines in order to meet the specified need for which the grant was given.
