Hurricane 5K Run/Walk June 15, 2024!

Wilmington City Schools and our Cross Country Teams are hosting a 5K Run / Walk! The Hurricane 5K is scheduled for June 15, 2024. We will be utilizing the Odgen/Elizabeth Looney Memorial Trail going out and back to complete the 5 K. The Odgen/Elizabeth Looney Memorial Trail is a 3.5 mile trail traveling through woodlands and farm fields and ending at Ogden Road. This trail has four bridges that cross Todd's Fork as the creek winds back-and-forth across the trail corridor. 

• Proceeds will benefit the WCS Cross Country Teams.
• Race fee is $25 for all other participants and family members.
• Participants registered by May 29, 2024 will receive a free walk/race T-Shirt.

June 15th: Registration and shirt pick up starts at 7:45 am with the walk/race starting at 9:00 am
