Welcome Back!

Welcome back! We’re excited to start the new school year and are hopeful for a healthy and productive school year. Below are a few things to review as we get ready for the 1st day of school:

From the Transportation Department:

• Please be patient the first few weeks of school as our drivers navigate their routes and our youngest students get used to pick-up, bus riding, and drop-off procedures.
• Avoid driving in the dedicated bus lanes at each building for everyone’s safety.
• Elementary parents: If you drop-off or pick-up your child from an elementary school, then please follow the procedures in Arrival & Dismissal for Elementary 2022-23 (pdf).

From the Clinton County Health Dept:

The Health Department would like to share their recent COVID-19 Guidance for K12 Schools for the Fall. If you have questions or have interest in a vaccine for you and/or your child, please reach out to the Health Dept (937-382-3829) or your family physician.

Did you get your calendar postcard?

We mailed 9x6 postcards to each household last week. The postcard has a handy student attendance calendar and hotline, BOE meeting dates, school/district contact information, and parent resources for the 2022-23 school year.

If you did not receive a postcard, please email info@wilmington.k12.oh.us or ask your child’s school secretary to mail you one.

We can’t wait to see the students back in the buildings for another great year at WCS!

August 16, 2022: Preschool Open House
Our preschool program has contacted parents directly to schedule open house visits during the day and evening on August 16th.
