WHS Theatre Presents Student Directed One Acts!

For the Super Spring Show, Theatre at WHS presents Student Directed One Acts. As part of the Directing class, two students will present their one act plays Thursday and Friday, May 5 and 6 at 7:00pm in the Wilmington High School Auditeria. Both shows play both nights. There will be festival seating with ticket cost at $10.00. No reservations required, tickets can be purchased at the door.

Justice Belle directs the show 4 A.M by Jonathan Dorf. What's it like to be awake when the rest of your world is asleep? Meet an early-morning jogger, a radio DJ whose show may have an audience of none, a modern Romeo and Juliet, the author of a most unusual letter, and many other teen characters as they search for connection in the magic hour. Through a series of connected scenes and monologues, join them on their journey as they discover whether the monster under the bed is real and collectively wonder...is there anybody out there?

Layna Tippett directs the show Check Please by Jonathan Rand. Dating can be hard. Especially when your date happens to be a raging kleptomaniac, or your grandmother's bridge partner, or a mime. Check Please follows a series of blind dinner dates that couldn't get any worse -- until they do. Could there possibly be a light at the end of the tunnel?
