WMS Student Immersion Tour of ATSG

In partnership with the Clinton County Workforce Collaborative, Wilmington Middle School took 20 students on a field trip to tour ATSG. Through this experience students were able to see first hand many of the career opportunities that are available right here in Clinton County. They saw engineers, mechanics, equipment operators, designers, and managers in their work environments. At the end of the tour students were treated to lunch and a Q & A with ATSG's Manager of Manufacturing Services.  

Curt Bradshaw, Director of Teaching & Learning at SOESC, shared that he joined the tour and was impressed with the engagement of the students and their interest in learning about the many departments and career opportunities that exist right here in Clinton County at ATSG.

This was the first Student Immersion Tour for Wilmington Middle School, and we are looking forward to more opportunities for our students to like this in the future. Thank you to the Clinton County Workforce Collaborative and ATSG for providing our students this valuable opportunity.
