10/5/23 Homecoming Parade

Our Homecoming parade will begin at 6:30 at WMS and will follow the traditional parade route. Be on the lookout for our 2023 WHS Homecoming Court, Grand Marshall, the Pride of Wilmington WHS Marching Band, lots of floats, and more!

Community Pep Rally at Alumni Field

After the parade, the community is encouraged to join us for a Community Pep Rally:

• Recognition of the 2023 Wilmington Homecoming Parade Grand Marshall
• Introductions of the WHS Homecoming Court.
• Crowning the 2023 WHS Homecoming King and Queen
• Recognition of the Wilmington City Schools Fall Teams
• Closing Remarks from Coach Evans
• Football to the Homecoming Queen
• Cheerleaders performance

10/6/23 Game Day Events

2:00PM - School Pep Rally, 7th Period
Students will gather for our WHS Student Pep Rally at 2:00PM!

4:00-6:30PM - 67th Annual Band Chili Supper
This traditional event will take place in the WHS Auditeria Friday, October 6th  from 4:00-6:30PM. The Wilmington Band program is proud to host one of the longest-running traditions in Wilmington.  We welcome everyone to join us for our traditional Band Chili Supper as WHS celebrates Homecoming 2023.  

• When: Friday, October 6, 2023 - 4:00pm - 6:30pm
• Where: Wilmington High School Auditera.
• Tickets are $7.00 for each meal.  A meal will come with a bowl of chili, a side of Applesauce or Coleslaw, dessert, and a drink.  All proceeds benefit the award-winning Wilmington Band program.
• How do I get tickets? Tickets can be purchased from a current WHS Band member or online at  wilmingtonbands.ludus.com  

7:00PM - Wilmington Homecoming Game

• Wilmington vs Goshen
• Tickets are $8 and are sold at the gate or online

10/7/23 - WHS Homecoming Dance

WHS Homecoming Dance is scheduled for Saturday, 10/7/23 from 7:30 to 10:00pm in the Middle School Gymnasium. 

Students:

• Doors will open at 7:30 and close at 8:30
• You will not be allowed to leave the dance until 10:00pm
• You MUST have your ticket to get into the gates. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at lunch start Thursday, Sept 28th. Laurel Oaks students will be able to purchase tickets during lunch with a SC representative.
• Forms are in the office and at lunch
• Guest forms, permission forms, and money are due at the same time. 
• No backpacks allowed
• Tickets are available to current WHS students in Grades 9-12. Students are permitted to bring one guest. No middle school students or students who are over 20.
